Performance and Design

The heavy-duty Ram comes standard with a 410-hp 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine teamed with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional is a 6.7-liter CUMMINS® turbocharged diesel inline six-cylinder engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission which kicks out 370-hp and 850 lb-ft of torque. The Ram 2500 is available in single, crew, or mega cabs and has six different trims to manage a payload up to 4,050 pounds and tow up to 19,780 pounds. A class-exclusive auto-level rear air suspension and 4WD are available.

Model Features

The Ram Power Wagon® model is one of the most capable off-road full-size pickup trucks around and comes standard with a crew-cab, 6-foot-4 box, and four-wheel drive. The exterior design highlights its resilience with a distinctive grille and tailgate, powder-coated front and rear bumpers, black wheel flares, and the all-new WARN® ZEON-12 Winch with a 12,000-pound rating. The Power Wagon® incorporates machined-face 17-inch aluminum wheels with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac® all-terrain tires. An exclusive black and liquid graphite cabin with long-lasting vinyl and embossed seats highlight the interior.

The Limited trim showcases LED headlamps and taillamps, 20-inch aluminum painted wheels, a power side step, and chrome details. Real wood accents, leather seating, and heated and ventilated front seats highlight the upscale interior. Technology features consist of an available largest-in-class 12.0-inch Uconnect® high-resolution touchscreen display, navigation, and a nine-speaker Alpine® audio system. Optional features include an adaptive forward lighting system and a RamBox® cargo system with a 115-volt outlet.


An advanced airbag system, traction control, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, hill start assist, and trailer sway damping are included. Available safety features consist of adaptive cruise control with stop, blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection, forward collision warning with active braking, Parksense® front and rear park assist, and a 360-degree surround view camera with a trailer reverse guidance view.
